B12 and vitamin D shots, with straight answers.
Your B12 or vitamin D came back low, or someone told you a shot would help. Here’s what each one is, what it’s commonly used for, and what a shot can’t do.
It’s the same short form as IV therapy. Choose “Vitamin injection.”
What each shot is for.
An injection skips your digestive tract. That can matter when your body has a hard time absorbing a nutrient from food or pills.
Vitamin B12
Your body uses B12 to make red blood cells and keep nerves working. Low B12 can leave you tired and foggy.
Commonly used for: low B12 levels, and people who don’t absorb B12 well from food.
Metabolic Energy Shot
A blend of methionine, inositol, choline, and carnitine, plus B12, B6, and B5.
Worth knowing: it won’t cause weight loss on its own. The changes you make to food and movement do that work.
Vitamin D
Your body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium and to support bones, muscles, and immune function. Most of it comes from sunlight, so levels often dip in winter.
Commonly used for: low vitamin D levels.

A shot can raise a low level. It can’t tell you why it was low.
If you’re low in B12 or vitamin D, a shot may help bring that level up. But it won’t tell you what caused it, or why you still feel drained once the number looks fine.
If fatigue, fog, gut trouble, or weight that won’t move has gone on for months, that’s a question for a deeper look. Dr. Jennifer Jeanty, DNP, does that in the Root Cause Intensive.
“If I don’t find what’s driving it, I’m guessing like everyone else.”

Use the same short request form as IV therapy and choose “Vitamin injection.” Our team will call to go over which shot fits and check that it’s safe for you before anything is booked.
How much does a shot cost?
Shots are priced per shot. Our team quotes the price on your call, before anything is booked.
How long does it take?
The shot itself takes seconds. Plan on about 15 minutes for the visit.
How often would I need one?
It depends on your levels and what you’re using it for. Our team will suggest a schedule and tell you when it’s time to recheck.
Do I need bloodwork first?
Not always. If you don’t know your B12 or vitamin D levels, our team may suggest checking them first.
Can I get a shot during an IV visit?
Yes, for an extra fee. Let our team know when they call, and they’ll add it to your visit.
Do you take insurance?
