What brings women here

Most women come in with more than one of these.

That’s usually the clue. When several systems are off at once, something is driving all of them, and functional medicine looks for what it is.

  • Fatigue

“Exhausted by 3 PM, no matter how much I sleep.”

  • Brain fog

“I read the same email four times and still lose the thread.”

  • Bloating and gut trouble

“Bloated by dinner. Reflux. Foods I used to eat now bother me.”

  • Weight that won’t move

“I’m doing everything right and the scale won’t budge.”

  • Perimenopause and hormone changes

“My body changed, and nobody explained why.”

  • Joint pain and inflammation

“Aches and stiffness that came out of nowhere.”

  • Sleep and mood

“Wired at night, flat all day, and short with everyone.”

  • Toxins and mold exposure

“I wonder if something in my home or my past is making me sick.”

If you’re still searching

You’re not looking for another appointment. You’re looking for an answer.

If you’ve said any of these, out loud or only to yourself, you’re the woman Dr. Jeanty built this practice for.

  • “I’ve seen five doctors. Each one looked at one piece of me.”
  • “They keep offering me pills for symptoms that aren’t in my head.”
  • “I’m getting worse, and nobody can tell me why.”
  • “I don’t want to cover it up. I want to know what’s causing it.”
  • “I’ll pay out of pocket if it means someone finally figures this out.”

“As a fitness instructor, I experienced severe fatigue, joint pain, weakness, and weight gain, to the point I was embarrassed to teach… I followed the protocol she created for me. I feel so much better. I have more endurance, stamina, and energy.”

Dr. Jeanty, functional medicine provider, thinking through a patient's history
What you’ve been searching for has a name

It’s called functional medicine. It starts with one question: why?

A standard visit is built to rule out an emergency and move on. That matters. But it isn’t built to explain why a woman who “checks out fine” can barely get through her afternoon.

Functional medicine asks a different question. Not “Is anything dangerously wrong?” but “What’s driving this, and when did it start?”

Dr. Jeanty lays your whole history on one timeline: when each symptom began, what changed right before it, and how your energy, gut, hormones, sleep, and weight connect. For many of the women she sees, the trail leads to hidden toxins like heavy metals or mold, a gut infection, or chronic inflammation. Sometimes it’s something else. The point is to look instead of guess.

“I’m a medical investigator. If I don’t find what’s driving it, I’m guessing like everyone else.”Dr. Jeanty

If you’ve been doing everything you know to do for your health and you still know something isn’t right, give me the next minute or so. Because the problem may not be that you haven’t tried hard enough. You may have been trying to solve the wrong problem.

Maybe you’ve become really good at pushing through. You show up for work, you take care of your family, and you get through the day. From the outside, you may look like you’re doing amazing, you’re doing fine. But you know your body has changed because you still have the symptoms. You’re still waking up every day not feeling like yourself and experiencing these annoying symptoms, and after a while, it’s easy to wonder, is this how I’m going to feel now? Is this my new normal?

I’m Dr. Jennifer Jeanty, and this is exactly why I created Wellness Corner NJ, which is a functional medicine clinic where we help women 35 years and older restore energy, metabolism, hormones, so they can feel clear, confident, like themselves again. Because two women can walk into my clinic with the exact same complaint, the exact same symptoms, but need very different things.

So before I decide what you need, I need to understand you: your story, your health, your lifestyle, your past trauma. What has changed? When did the change occur? What you already tried, and all the clues that your body has been giving you all along. Then we can begin to figure out what may be contributing to how you feel and what makes sense to do next.

Because my goal is not to give you one more thing to try. It’s to help you get to a place where your health, your symptoms take up less of your life. Where you have energy for your day and still have something left for the people and the things that you love. Where you can think clearly and feel strong in your body.

So if you’re ready, if you’re like, “That’s me, Dr. J. I want the stamina, I want the energy, I want the brain fog to go away, I want to lose a few pounds, and I want the gut issues to diminish,” I want you to book your first consultation. You don’t need to know what’s going on with you before you come in. And you don’t need to know which service you need first. That is where we begin together. Click below to book your first root cause consultation, your first functional medicine consultation, and I’d love to meet you.

How functional medicine works here

Three phases. One clinician holding the whole picture.

1

Investigate

We go back to when this started: your history, your symptoms, what you’ve already tried, and testing only when it will change the plan. The goal is to name what’s driving your pattern.

2

Active Healing

We address what we found and support the systems it strained, with a plan built around your body, your goals, and your real schedule.

3

Maintenance

As you improve, your care steps down. The goal is to get you out of intensive treatment, not keep you in it forever.

Book Your Root Cause Intensive Phase one starts with the Root Cause Intensive.
Why you haven’t booked yet

You know this is for you. So what’s stopping you?

After years of being dismissed, it makes sense to be careful. Here are the doubts that keep women from booking, and straight answers to each one.

“What if she dismisses me too?”

You get a full hour, not ten minutes, and she studies your intake before you walk in. She’s been the dismissed one. When her own gut started breaking down, she was told it was stress and offered Xanax. She didn’t accept that answer for herself, and she won’t hand it to you.

“What if it’s another expensive dead end?”

You know the price before you book: $497 for two visits. It’s the investigation, not a program you’re locked into. You leave with her read on what may be driving your symptoms and your first step. Lab tests are extra, and you’ll know the options and costs before anything is ordered. Whether you continue is up to you.

“What if she doesn’t find anything either?”

Then she’ll tell you that straight, along with what’s been ruled out and what to look at next. Her rule for her own practice: “Never stop looking until someone finds the why.”

“Insurance won’t cover it.”

No, it won’t, and that’s on purpose. Private pay is what lets Dr. Jeanty give you a full hour instead of a few minutes. We can give you documentation to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. That depends on your plan and isn’t guaranteed.

Founder and clinical director

She was told it was stress, too.

Dr. Jennifer Jeanty spent the early part of her career in emergency medicine. Then it got personal. While she was helping her father through cancer, her own gut started breaking down: bloating and symptoms nobody could explain.

When she went looking for answers, she was told it was stress and offered Xanax. She refused. She kept digging until she found what was actually going on, and she built Wellness Corner NJ so other women wouldn’t have to dig alone.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is functional medicine?

Functional medicine looks for what’s driving your symptoms instead of treating each one on its own. Dr. Jeanty looks at your full history, when each symptom started, and how your body’s systems affect each other. Then she builds a plan around what she finds.

I don’t have a diagnosis. Can I still come in?

Yes. Often that’s exactly why women reach out: nobody has given them one. We start with what you’ve been feeling and work out what needs a closer look.

Do I need labs before I book?

No. If you have past lab results, you can upload them. Dr. Jeanty recommends more testing only when it will change your plan.

Where are you located?

280 W Main St, 2nd Floor, Denville, NJ 07834. Women come to us from Morristown, Parsippany, Rockaway, Randolph, Boonton and across Morris County. Virtual visits are available when appropriate.

Do you take insurance?

No. We’re a private-pay practice. That’s what lets Dr. Jeanty spend a full hour on your history instead of a few minutes. We can give you documentation to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. That depends on your plan and isn’t guaranteed.

Can I be seen virtually?

Yes. You can meet with Dr. Jeanty in person in Denville, NJ, or virtually when appropriate.

“Dr. Jeanty should be your doctor if you want to find and fix the root cause of your medical problem. She will not send you off with a quick fix prescription. She will listen, ask questions and explain everything as you go on this journey…”

“Even though I looked fit, I had digestive issues and a lot of joint pains due to inflammation. Dr Jeanty had me do a very comprehensive round of bloodwork and toxin screenings. After we got the results we found many things that wouldn’t have shown up in normal bloodwork…”

“Dr. J is incredibly caring and takes the time to truly listen… While I initially hesitated at the cost, the investment in my health has been absolutely worth it.”
