Still bloated. Still guessing.
You’ve cut foods, tried probiotics, and heard it’s probably stress. Dr. Jennifer Jeanty, DNP, holds a certificate in digestive health. She looks for what’s actually driving your gut symptoms.
Your stomach runs your schedule.
If you’ve had years of gut issues and still no clear answer, keep reading.
Why she starts with the gut.
Dr. Jeanty built her practice on a core belief: a lot of what goes wrong in the body starts in the gut and radiates outward. That’s her clinical view. Not every clinician sees it the same way.
Here’s the reasoning. Your gut breaks food down, absorbs what you need, and gets rid of what you don’t. When that isn’t working well, it makes sense to look there when your energy, skin, sleep, or focus are off too.
She knows the frustration firsthand. Her own gut symptoms were once put down to stress. She kept looking. If you’ve heard the same thing, start here: you’re not crazy.
“I’m a medical investigator. If I don’t find what’s driving it, I’m guessing like everyone else.”

Investigate first. Treat what we find. Then keep it steady.
Investigate
We go back to when your gut symptoms started: what changed, what you eat, what you’ve tried, and what makes it better or worse. Testing, such as a viral panel, mold testing, hormones, inflammation markers, and sometimes micronutrients, comes in when it will change the plan.
Active Healing
We address what we found, in an order you can keep up with. That can mean changes to food and daily habits, targeted supplements or herbs, and a guided detox when it fits. Every piece comes with a reason you’ll hear first.
Maintenance
Once things settle, we work out what keeps them steady, with a plan you can live with long term.
Concerns we commonly look into.
This isn’t a list of things we promise to fix. It’s what patients come in asking about.
- Gas, bloating, and stomach pain, with or without food
- Heartburn, reflux, and indigestion
- Constipation, diarrhea, or both
- Food reactions and sensitivities
- Fatigue and brain fog alongside gut symptoms
- Candida, mold, and parasites
- SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth)
- Leaky gut
Already diagnosed with something like H. pylori, an ulcer, fatty liver, Crohn’s, or colitis? Dr. Jeanty works alongside your GI doctor or primary care clinician, not in place of them. Keep taking what they’ve prescribed. If you have blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, or severe pain, call your doctor right away.
Patients who were done living around their gut.
“I originally went to her for bloating, weight gain, and acne issues that could never be resolved in the 3 years that I have been trying and already from just one detox she has helped all 3 of those problems… No other doctor has been this involved in my healthcare.”Maria L. · Google review
“I am 3 weeks into her detox program after experiencing years of gut issues, and I have never felt better. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable at every visit.”Natalie K. · Google review
“Even though I looked fit, I had digestive issues and a lot of joint pains due to inflammation… I have since finished the detox and I’m on a very healthy diet that has helped me reduce my digestive issues and my inflammation.”Rich G. · Google review

Straight answers.
Do I need a diagnosis to come in?
No. Most patients come in with symptoms, not a diagnosis. We start with what you’ve been feeling and work out what needs a closer look.
Is lab testing included?
Lab tests aren’t included in the $497. If testing is recommended, you’ll know the options and costs first.
Am I going to leave with another list of supplements?
Not a pile of them. If a supplement is on your plan, you’ll hear what it’s for and why it’s there. If something isn’t helping, we change it instead of adding another bottle.
Will I have to give up all my favorite foods?
Not forever. Some plans include a short break from certain foods while we figure out what’s bothering you. The goal is a way of eating you can keep.
Should I stop my current medication?
No. Keep taking what your clinician prescribed. Don’t stop or change any medication without talking to the clinician who prescribed it.
Can I do this virtually?
Yes. You can meet with Dr. Jeanty in person in Denville, NJ, or virtually when appropriate.
Do you take insurance?
No. We’re a private-pay practice. That’s what lets Dr. Jeanty spend a full hour on your history instead of a few minutes.
